No matter how many times we’re told that the visible PageRank in the Google toolbar means Jack, we just don’t believe it. Or, if we do, most of us still like to see if our PageRank has increased or decreased whenever there’s a change
It’s been a hell of long time since the last update to the toolbar, but it looks like there is another one on the way. The usual discussions of “my site has gone from PR6 to PR0″ and “well, I can’t see any update” are taking place in a thread at Digital Point forums and there’s a post on Search Engine Roundtable too.
I’ve been through some of my sites and noticed only one change, from 1 to 0. The six or so others I checked (home page only) haven’t changed at this time, but that doesn’t mean they won’t during the next couple of days.
