Test your blog on a virtual iPad
The iPad is an Apple product that has taken the world by storm. I haven’t got one and it’s not high up on my current wishlist either, but I have tried one in a local shop. It was a quick go – I didn’t want to get drawn into the touch it, try it, buy it scenario (those salesmen know all the tricks of the trade).
My use of an iPad was so short I didn’t get a chance to see what any of my sites look like on one. However, that is now possible, using a neat little virtual ipad at iPadPeek. The principle is simple, type in the address of the blog you want to check and hit the return key. The page should instantly appear inside the iPad simulator.
Landscape is the default view, to change it to portrait you have to click on the iPad border at the top of the screen. To change it back, just click on the border once again.
The virtual iPad a really nice app, and very handy for anyone running a blog or who is involved with web design, theme development etc who doesn’t own a real life iPad.

Great share there Stephen. It’s always good to know how your sites look like on mobile, mini notebooks and of course on iPads, since some plugins don’t really work on smaller screens. This actually happened to some of bloggers I know, wherein floating social bookmark plugins cover the content part of the site, which is not really beneficial. Anyway, I’ll try iPadPeek right away :)

Jason
There are so many ways to view websites these days it has become a nightmare for the average blog owner/webmaster to check total compatibility across all platforms.
Did you have a go at iPadPeek?
Great! Glad to know there’s an app to help me see how my site’s looking on iPads everywhere. Thanks for the heads-up!
Hi Sean, no problem. Hope you find it useful.
Yes of course I do :) Thanks again Stephen!
