An update to the 2.6 version of WordPress has recently been released. Most of the changes are aimed at international users who blog in a language other than English (particularly Farsi and Hebrew). There doesn’t seem to be any major fixes for people blogging in English and the WordPress blog advises users that there is no need to upgrade if the current version is working satisfactorily.
